About the role

What you'll be working on

Responsible for assisting and maintenance of Microsoft SQL and Oracle databases.
Responsible for aiding investigations and helping to resolve SQL and Oracle database issues.
Responsible for monitoring database events and helping to optimize database and system performance proactively.
DBA oncall and weekend support on a rotation basis for planned and unplanned activities.
Responsible for working with other teams to implement changes to production and dev environments.

We're looking for someone with

Experience in Microsoft SQL databases 2000,2005/2008/2012/2014, and up.
Intermediate knowledge of Oracle Database Administration tasks to perform as needed.
Basic understanding and working experience in Linux and AIX operating systems.
Experience in Developing DTS and SSIS packages for the data loading process.
Experience in SQL Job schedulers and ability to add or remove job steps.
