The Transportation System Analyst oversees the development, testing and managing the system.

Reporting to the Manager of Transportation Management Systems and Processes, you will be involved in the planning, implementation, administration, support, and documentation of a variety of infrastructure systems.


Key Responsibilities:


To be effective in this role you will:

  • Analyze system data and troubleshoot day-to-day system issues.
  • Complete testing for system upgrades and act as superuser through execution
  • Determine and communicate new functionality requirements to the IT department.
  • Analyze critical processes and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Liaise with IT and manage project priorities.
  • Manage user system set up and facilitate end user training.
  • Own and modify system configuration settings,
  • Establish best practices,
  • Proactively monitor, report on, and manage assigned systems and technologies, and
- develop and maintain documentation for all responsible environments.

  • Identify and investigate hardware and software issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement an action plan for the resolution of issues.

Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent degree or experience
  • 25 years of Analyst experience or related field
  • Can work independently, troubleshoot complex systems, and possess strong customer service and excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Superior customer relationship skills
  • Effective communication and negotiating skills (both verbal and written)
  • Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong analytical skills and capable of mastering proficiency in the use of Excel, MS Office, WMS, ERP, TMS and BI database tools.
