Pharmacy technicians work with pharmacists to:

• Help prepare and give out prescription medication
• They take prescriptions over the phone and in person and verify the validation of the prescription
• Filling refills through automatic fill or through patient requests
• Answer basic questions from customers
• Help prepare mixture medicines, count pills, measure medication and label
• Keep Drugs properly stored and removed expired medications
• Filing filled prescriptions

Retrieving filled prescriptions for customer pick-up

Receiving incoming orders from suppliers and verifying quantities

• Stocking Items into inventory
• Help take payments.
• Most Importantly

- understand patient care, its significance and have fun


Salary:
$15,000.00-$20,000.00 per year
