Description

We are looking for skilled Bookkeepers to maintain financial records, including purchase and sales invoices, receipts and payments, monthly account reconciliations, and financial report generation.

Ultimately, the Bookkeeper's responsibilities are to accurately record all day-to-day financial transactions within their client portfolio.

Responsibilities:


  • Accurately record daytoday financial transactions in an online bookkeeping environment
  • Complete accounts receviable and payable duties in a timely manner
  • Perform regular reconciliation of daily cash accounts and general ledgers
  • Perform partial checks of the posting process
  • Prepare financial statements and other reports as needed
  • Accurately process payroll and remittances

Requirements and Skills:


  • 5 years of bookkeeping experience
  • Solid understanding of GAAP/IFRS
  • Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, Xero, Quickbooks
  • Must be comfortable working efficiently in an online, cloudbased environment
  • Strong organization, communication and problemsolving skills
  • Self starter, great time management skills and able to work independently
  • Willing to learn new software as needed
  • Customer service oriented and negotiation skills
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration, or proven experience
This is a T4A contract position.


Job Type:

Salary:
$22.00-$28.00 per hour
