The Brokerage Specialist supports the On Site Compliance Team for a CSA Customer. He/She manages/ analyses various compliance reports on a weekly/ monthly basis. This position monitors processes for quality as well as compliance with customs regulations. He/She provides customer care by ensuring all results are shared with customer and presents them to the customer via Key Performance Indicators

Job Responsabilities;

Verifies and Audits Transactions

Follows up with operations employees to ensure Work Instructions are followed

Audits customs entries and billing invoices to ensure the accuracy

Reports disposition of entry progress to inform local management

Manages various reports and validates data under CSA Requirements

Monitors Quality and Process Compliance

:

Oversees timely delivery of merchandise to ensure adherence to company and client standard operating procedures (SOPs)

:

Analyzes current departmental processes to identify inefficiencies and cost reduction opportunities

:

-
Trains hourly-paid, non-management staff to support quality entry submission

:

-
Verifies transactions to ensure compliance with governmental agency requirements

:

Reviews various entry reports to identify and resolve billing and compliance issues

Assists in Providing Customer Care

:

Assists in creating/ updating customer SOPs to document customer requirements

:

Responds to customer queries to ensure compliance regulation is applied

Assists with problem resolution to meet customer needs and to avoid penalties

Assists in Report Management

Generates daily, weekly, and monthly reports to verify transaction compliance

Manages KPIs results and provides analytical results with the customer and internal employees

Supports Employee Development

Informally collaborates with managers and supervisors to produce continuous development plans for direct reports

Holds others accountable to established performance levels to achieve individual and group goals

Assists managers and supervisors in reviewing performance results with hourly employees to provide feedback on strengths and areas for improvement

Assists managers and supervisors in resolving individual and group performance issues in accordance with UPS's policies and procedures in a timely manner to help motivate and foster teamwork

Qualifications

Associates degree or College degree preferred

CCS designation required

Experience and comfort in working in a fast-paced environment with mínimal supervision
