The Desktop Technician is part of the GTO Canada End User Services team.The member will be responsible for the set up and support of desktop and laptop equipment for our client.

Your future duties and responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
- Installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all PC equipment.
- Troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion.
- Provide enduser assistance where required.
- Image Workstation for new deployments.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Windows 7, Windows 10, Windows 11 (Mac OS X is an asset)
- Antivirus
- Office Suites , Office 36
- Knowledge of Computer hardware
- Knowledge of networking principles
- Ticketing system (ITSP / ITSM is an asset)
- Experienced Apple support experience is an asset
Soft skills:
- Customer service oriented
- Professional appearance since this is a client facing role
- Selfstarter, ability to work independently
- Must be able to meet scheduled deliverables
- Team player
- Dynamic
- Autonomous
- Resourceful
- Postsecondary education in a relevant discipline or equivalent work experience
- 3 to 5 years experience in a related field
- English spoken and written
- A reliable vehicle is a requirement as local travel within Winnipeg is required
