Primary Responsibilities:
- One on one mentorship sessions with all assigned students once a week with a weekly total of 45 minutes time spent per student.
- Record and track all mentorship sessions on reporting systems provided.
- Create and teach GSNL & PSNL curriculum and learning plans.
- Be trained and certified to teach all materials as requested.
- Record and track all class progression on reporting system provided.
- Schedule or adapt class time appropriately in order to maintain and honour the timeframe set forth by and to ensure the academic success of each student
- Family Communications
- Maintain excellent relationships with student families and support.
- Communicate student progression or incidents weekly to respected family members.
- Organize and plan student requests, phone calls, visits and appointments and track requests on reporting system provided.
- Ensure that scheduled program events, rules & procedures are being followed by students.
Qualifications:
- Able to effectively minister and counsel students and families.
- Working knowledge with Mac computers and Apple software.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Valid class 5 drivers licence.
- Ability to defuse tense situations.
Salary:
$45,000.00-$53,000.00 per year
