Service Promotions Coordinator

The Role
Reporting to the Client Services Manager

  • Meals on Wheels & Transportation Program, you will effectively expand client base for the Meals on Wheels (MOW) and Transportation programs. Responsible for the development and roll out of the Hot Meals Pilot Project.
  • This is a temporary fulltime position, 35 hours per week, 8:30am 4:30pm
  • Monday to Friday with occasional work outside of business hours. Onsite position with some travel required. _

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Promotion of Meals on Wheels and Transportation programs
  • Coordinate the Hot Meals pilot project.
  • Manage referrals/intakes and coordinate and schedule services for clients, and volunteers. Contribute to customer service excellence, continuous quality improvement and risk management.

What you bring to the role:

  • Recognized training equivalent to college diploma.
  • Three years of direct customer service experience with seniors or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Comfortable speaking with/presenting to groups.
  • Outgoing personality
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong problemsolving abilities and the ability to handle conflict effectively.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Exceptional communication, telephone, and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle required. Fluency in both official languages (English or French) or other languages, an asset.
