DUTIES & FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and coordinate the activities of a skilled work force which includes an electrician and maintenance mechanics.
- Maintain on a regular basis the predictive and preventive maintenance program which includes: machinery identification and equipment maintenance criteria.
- Report on quality of machinery performance.
- Assist with technical information on equipment, breakdowns, and repairs.
- Reports material and spare part need to maintenance engineer.
- Prepare work orders.
- Perform troubleshooting of all machines and systems (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, etc.), recommend corrective actions, and supervise modifications and repairs upon approval.
- Evaluate completed work and report.
- Participate on the improvement of PM programs.
- Physically perform mechanical maintenance work and simple electrical work not requiring license for electrical work.
- Prenegotiate contracted supplies (hydraulics, pneumatics, water, ventilation etc.) and report to maintenance engineer.
- Work in cooperation with engineering, quality, production supervisory, or outside of the company personnel when directed.
- Follow the policies and procedures of Tubular Steel Inc. generally and related to this position.
- Make sure maintenance workshop area is prepared for the next shift.
- Abide company Health and Safety Regulations.
- Perform other related duties as instructed by management.
- Must make sure all outside gates are closed when not in use.
PRACTICAL SKILLS REQUIRED TO PERFORM:
- Good communication skills and punctuality.
- Team leadership skills.
- Use of tape measure, ball micrometer, micrometer, calibers, etc.
- Knowledge of paperwork, its collection, and distribution. (PM, work orders, orders, material requests, etc)
- Knowledge of all equipment (manufacturing and metalworking machinery) and systems operation and safety procedures.
- Good analytical and reasoning abilities.
- Knowledge of using power and other tools.
- Knowledge of basic electrical wiring and installations.
- Knowledge of materials and their processing.
- Ability to read and interpret prints and drawings.
- Ability to improve and modify the machinery and parts.
- Knowledge of related policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of QS 9000 and update version system and requirements as they relate to the uncoiling function.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. 5 years hands-on experience in machinery maintenance in manufacturing environment.
- Holding the maintenance licence.
- Mechanical degree or equivalent.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Good proficiency in English.

$60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
