As our Retail Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day ongoing of our wine shop. You will lead a team of retail staff members, creating a positive work environment that encourages growth and teamwork.


Responsibilities

  • Organize all retail operations and allocate responsibilities to personnel
  • Supervise and guide staff towards maximum performance
  • Monitor stock levels and submit purchase orders
  • Handle all customer complaints and feedbacks with professionalism to maintain the winery's reputation
  • Upkeep retail space in a clean and organized manner
  • Resolve any issues that might arise
  • Plan and oversee instore promotional events
  • Training of new hires, ensuring positive work environment for all staff members
  • Keep abreast of market trends to determine the need for improvements in the store
  • Analyze sales and revenue reports and make forecasts

Requirements and skills

  • Proven experience as retail manager or in other managerial position
  • Knowledge of retail management best practices
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Analytical and growth mindset
  • Valid Serving it Right Certificate
