Job title:
Customer Service Representative


Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm with a 1 hour unpaid lunch break.


Tasks, duties and responsibilities:


  • Greet customers and assist them with order pickup or placing orders
  • Provide product consultation and direction to customers
  • Log sales processed, price and delivery quotes
  • Receive orders and ensure that the orders are processed in a timely manner, coordinating with warehouse personnel as required
  • Communicate with customers regarding order status and questions
  • Monitor and followup with appropriate department regarding delayed orders
  • Contact Purchasing for price and delivery on nonstock or special order items
  • Advise sales team of issues or potential problems with their respective accounts
  • Complete all Return Goods Authorization report and forward to Invoicing
  • Accurately enter orders
  • Liaise with various departments for pricing and delivery of product
  • Keep customer service area organized and tidy at all times
  • Cross train to assist or fill for other positions as needed
  • Update customer contact information and filter lists
  • Ensure all delivery of freight charges are billed out or charged against the customer's sales order
  • Order inventory for items stocked for specific customer in addition to media rolls required in stock as per shipping departments
  • Other duties as assigned

Physical requirements:
Standing; walking; bending; dusty environments; exposure to extreme temperatures, heights, noise and lifting up to 23kg (50lbs)


Knowledge, skills, abilities and other competencies:

  • Team player
  • Excellent customer service, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with computers and MS Office.
  • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational and problem solving skills.
  • Adaptable and Selfmotivated.
  • Ability to take direction in a team environment and work well independently
  • Enthusiastic and exhibits a positive attitude and desire to succeed.
