What You'll Do:


As the Head of Business Operations and Strategy, you will drive the office of the CEO, implement company-wide strategy, help define and drive critical strategic and operational initiatives, and shape internal and external communications and presentations.

You will work closely with the extended leadership team and board to drive key transformational initiatives.


In this role you will:

  • Impact and help drive companylevel strategy both organically and inorganically
  • Provide postmerger integration leadership and program management
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and brainstorming partner to CEO and provide insights on company strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT)
  • Assist CEO and functional leaders to define, evaluate, quantify, and prioritize new business opportunities; help strategic ideas take root and provide early facilitation
  • Help the CEO stand up company operating system which includes formalizing companywide meeting cadence, creating companywide goals and OKRs, and driving 3and1year planning
  • Lead business operations and/or crossfunctional transformation initiatives, working with executive owners & working teams to ensure initiatives remain on track; this includes driving project management, proactively identifying all obstacles and risks, supporting initiative owners to overcome challenges, and ensuring initiatives are resourced appropriately in collaboration with the CEO and senior leadership team
  • When needed, take on temporary leadership (interim divisional or functional head) roles while the company recruits for the longterm owner
  • Facilitate and help prepare materials for key meetings including CXO, extended leadership team, quarterly/annual planning, board meetings, monthly business reviews, and allhands meetings

Experience and Skills Needed:


  • Minimum of 68 years of work experience including some time at a top strategy consulting firm or investment bank
  • Previous SaaS operating experience is a plus
  • MBA or equivalent degree a plus
  • A storyteller with exceptional communication and presentation skills; credible operating at board level
  • Strategic and creative problem solver with a "handson" orientation who understands what it takes to drive real operating change, can create a sense of urgency, and effectively influence others to gain the trust and respect of CEO, senior executives, and Board
  • Ability to manage complexity and transform ambiguity into action across functional groups, driving valuecreation
  • Possesses a strong bias to action and is a "doer" who contributes daily to progress
  • Ability to identify and define business questions and issues, and develop strategic, analytical, and financial frameworks to conduct
  • Wellorganized with a finisher mentality, thinks on their feet and able to juggle multiple tasks and ensure that there are no 'dropped balls'
  • Ability to see the bigger picture, identifying opportunities to add value beyond immediate
  • Tenacious, resilient, and serviceoriented approach
