Press Brake Operator - Apogee
Part of the Ryerson Family of Companies, Apogee Steel Fabrication has been providing businesses in Ontario and the USA with quality service in metal cutting, forming, and fabrication for more than 25 years.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, program and operate a Press Brake accurately for routine established work
- Maintain machinery to ensure proper working conditions
- Measure and verify that the parts produced meet print specs
- Safely operate a forklift to handle materials
- Document basic material, production and quality control issues
- Participate in equipment preventative maintenance at the operator level
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3 years minimum Press Brake programming preferred
- 6 months of previous manufacturing experience
- Ability to read blueprints preferred
- Keen attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and independently
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Team player with a strong, positive attitude
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
From $26.39 per hour
Expected hours: 44 per week
