- Evaluate product load case requirements for Oneka's wave-powered desalination buoys along with the engineering teams.
- Design loads and conduct product design analyses.
- Develop mooring designs using tools like Proteus, DeepLines, and OrcaFlex.
- Assess different moorings and anchoring systems, optimizing for buoy configurations, site requirements, and operational needs.
- Create innovative mooring solutions for our desalination buoys.
- Plan and execute marine operations for anchoring and mooring system installation under the guidance of Project Managers.
- Support tests related to load analysis, anchoring, and mooring design.
- Specify anchoring and mooring equipment and manage supplier selection processes.
- Engage with external contractors for anchoring and mooring design services in collaboration with product managers.
- Work from our Halifax office alongside a creative and ambitious team.
