We are London's favorite lunch spot, regular late-night haunt, and go-to destination for a great bite & drink. Our tacos range from classic Mexican to weird-and-wild-you've-gotta-try-this.


All of our food is 100% gluten-free and we offer a variety of fare that is sure to satisfy either the most dedicated carnivore or delight your vegetarian and/or vegan side.

What's The Role?_


The FOH Supervisor works under the direction of The Mule's Management Team to ensure the daily success of The Mule's service & support teams.

The FOH Supervisor is responsible for ensuring The Mule's FOH restaurant is always welcoming, competently staffed, and is providing exceptional service to the hungry & thirsty masses of London.

Key Responsibilities_

  • Ensure guests are given prompt, attentive and unobtrusive service at all times.
  • Ensure proper frontofhouse supervision at all times, and handle any and all complaints or issues that arise in a professional, helpful and friendly manner.
  • Monitor daytoday FOH staffing levels, and effectively adjust labour accordingly.
  • Ensure that policies and procedures are followed at all times, including health & safety and steps of service.
  • Liaise with the General Manager, as well as BOH Management, to ensure effective cooperation and communication at all times.
  • Take a proactive role in encouraging teamwork, cooperation, productivity and a positive attitude within the working environment.
  • Be able to access and understand all functions of Silverware, 7Shifts, MarketMan & Google G Suite.
  • At the end of all shifts, assist in completing all necessary daily reports and approving all cash outs.
  • Work as part of the FOH team in any position, including bartender, server or host, as needed.
  • Attend meetings, including The Other Bird Managers Meetings, and The Mule Staff Meetings.
  • Be familiar with the management staff of all Other Bird outlets; collaborate on staffing, events and overall communication.
  • Other tasks as assigned by the General Manager or FOH Manager.

Education & Experience Requirements:


  • 3+ years FrontofHouse restaurant experience with consistent experience in both bartending and serving is required.
  • Availability to work late nights, weekends, and holidays is required.
  • Smart Serve certification is required.
  • FrontofHouse restaurant management experience is an asset.

Skills & Abilities:


  • Having strong organizational skills and attention to detail is paramount.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must be able to delegate tasks effectively, and work in a fast paced environment with multiple interruptions.
  • Must be able to work and lead effectively in a team environment.
  • Most demonstrate honesty and integrity.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage conflict calmly and effectively.
