Wilcox is looking for energetic, hardworking individuals to join our
Laser cutting and Forming team. Full time day for experienced CNC Laser Operator in our truck body division.


CNC Laser Operator Technician responsibilities include:

• Set up and operation of CNC Co2 Laser
• Read blueprints and drawings to determine specifications to fulfill work orders
• Preform firstoff and inprocess inspections of parts produced
• Complete workorder signoff and material inventory usage
• Experience using a variety of measuring instruments (general tolerance of +/.015")
• Experience with CAD software and/or Laser Programming software would be an asset
• Experience using Forklift/ tow motor and asset
• Experience using Jib Crane and vacuum lifts
• Follow quality control procedures
• Clean and lubricate equipment
• Maintain daily maintenance/inspection logs
• Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety

Job Requirements:

years Laser Operator experience (HK FL 3015 ideally)

• Siemens CNC control experience
• Sigmanest programming software
• Understanding of various materials and cutting characteristics.
• Proven experience within the metal fabrication field
• Experience in using measuring devices (calipers, tape measure, square, protractor)
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
• Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (faceshield, gloves etc.)
• Deftness and attention to detail
• Proficient in English
• Mechanically inclined

Salary:
$22.00-$27.00 per hour
