About the Opportunity:


Under the direction of the Health Services Manager, the Clerk B contributes to the effective operation of the Post Liver Transplant Clinic by acting as the central communication person for the unit.

The Clerk B performs reception, clerical and administrative duties following hospital policies and procedures while maintaining a high standard of maturity and discretion in handling confidential matters.

This position also requires the incumbent to transport multiple charts between offices.


About You:

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Grade XII plus one year related experience, or graduate of a recognized one year secretarial/office/business program
  • Knowledge of transplant program an asset
  • Knowledge of computers is required
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Medical terminology
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrates problem solving and decision making skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize duties
  • Ability to work with mínimal supervision
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Knowledge of STAR and PHS an asset
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours:

Permanent, Full Time; 70 hours bi-weekly


Compensation and Incentives:

$ $21.91 Hourly
