    About you / qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 months' work experience in an administrative setting
  • Previous experience in a similar position within a mortgage or loan administration department would be an asset
  • Good financial acumen with experience in a financial institution preferred
  • Strong reconciliation skills
  • Strong relationship building and customer service skills with excellent communication, both written and verbal
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Adobe
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • A self-starter who can work independently or as part of a team
  • Works well under pressure and with tight deadlines and is able to prioritize tasks in a changing environment
  • Fluency in French is an asset
  • About the day-to-day :

  • Verify EFTs, transfers and wires via various banks, within authority level
  • Process property taxes on a daily/weekly basis
  • All aspects of daily, monthly and annual mortgage and consumer lending
  • Funding, payment and processing support for commercial funding
  • Maintain digital file records, and upload documents to portal libraries
  • Liaise with various internal departments, as well as external; insurance consultants, CMHC, & servicer partners & mortgage brokers regarding ongoing payments
  • Direct internal/external customer and investor relations and relationship management
  • Responsible for maintaining a working knowledge of the Mortgage policies and procedures on the Portal, company policies and procedures, and the CMHC servicing manual
  • Annual Compensation:

    Peoples Group is pleased to offer employees a competitive annual salary and discretionary profit share opportunity. Salary for this position will vary between $50,000 and $55,000 per year depending on the knowledge, skills, abilities & experience that the chosen candidate possess.
