Hanson Canada is looking for
Supply Instructors (In-Person) to work at our
Brampton Campus for the following courses:
- Business
- Hospitality
- Psychology
- Accounting
- Law

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct college courses for international students, some of whom do not have English as their first language
- Implement the college or other program curriculum and specified course outlines by means of classroom instruction and effective pedagogical methodologies
- Compile supplementary teaching materials, undertake audio or video recording or other work as may be requested related to a course
- Undertake classroom management, attendance tracking, accurate record keeping
- Perform time management, capability to respond to flexible hours and uncertainty
Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational abilities are required
- Strong commitment to provide students with the best educational experience; a desire to stay actively involved in the education field and College community.
- Ability to convey course material effectively, commitment to contributing to extracurricular activities and educational experience for the students
- Strong classroom management skills and excellent interpersonal skills
- Punctual, independent and selfmotivated
- Excellent time management skills
- Able to work on a flexible schedule
- Ability to respond to schedule conflicts and adjust accordingly
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Minimum Honours Bachelor's Degree in area of specialty or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 13 years of teaching experience (experience working with international students is preferred, and experience teaching in a postsecondary institution is an asset)
- 5+ years of experience in area of specialty would be an asset
- Excellent computer skills (MS Office, Outlook, online education resources/platforms)
Work Hours:
Flexible, On-Call
