Hanson Canada is looking for
Supply Instructors (In-Person) to work at our
Brampton Campus for the following courses:

Business
Hospitality
Psychology
Accounting
Law

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct college courses for international students, some of whom do not have English as their first language
Implement the college or other program curriculum and specified course outlines by means of classroom instruction and effective pedagogical methodologies
Compile supplementary teaching materials, undertake audio or video recording or other work as may be requested related to a course
Undertake classroom management, attendance tracking, accurate record keeping
Perform time management, capability to respond to flexible hours and uncertainty

Qualifications:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational abilities are required
Strong commitment to provide students with the best educational experience; a desire to stay actively involved in the education field and College community.
Ability to convey course material effectively, commitment to contributing to extracurricular activities and educational experience for the students
Strong classroom management skills and excellent interpersonal skills
Punctual, independent and selfmotivated
Excellent time management skills
Able to work on a flexible schedule
Ability to respond to schedule conflicts and adjust accordingly

Education/Experience Requirements:

Minimum Honours Bachelor's Degree in area of specialty or an equivalent combination of education and experience
13 years of teaching experience (experience working with international students is preferred, and experience teaching in a postsecondary institution is an asset)
5+ years of experience in area of specialty would be an asset
Excellent computer skills (MS Office, Outlook, online education resources/platforms)

Work Hours:
Flexible, On-Call
