    What is the opportunity? As a Data Engineer, you will design, implement, and support Data Engineering solutions and processes across a global organization. We are looking for a Data Engineer with hands-on experience in designing and developing data platforms. This role brings strong data architecture and data engineering skills, effective written and verbal communication skills, a strong work ethic and a demonstrated capability to multi-task effectively. This role requires strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills as well as a demonstrated sense of urgency to respond to changing priorities at times. What will you do?
  • Design Cloud-native data pipelines, automation routines, and database schemas that can be leveraged to do predictive and prescriptive machine learning.
  • Demonstrates outstanding understanding of Cloud (Snowflake) services especially in the data engineering and analytics space.
  • Work closely with data team, and other stakeholders to understand their data requirements and assist in building data solutions that cater to their needs.
  • Design, Develop and support new and existing batch and real-time data pipelines and recommend improvements and modifications.
  • Communicate strategies and processes around data modeling and architecture to cross-functional groups. Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements.
  • Utilize your expertise in data transformation techniques to enrich raw data, making it more accessible and valuable for analytics and reporting purposes.
  • Build and implement ETL frameworks to improve code quality and reliability.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of data processing, results, and reporting.
  • Leverage your experience to drive best practices in ML and data engineering.
  • What do you need to succeed? Must Have
  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on Data Engineer experience, with a proven track record of delivering data solutions.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in system integration, cloud architecture (Snowflake or Azure), and technologies.
  • Solid Experience in building and optimizing data pipelines, architectures, and datasets.
  • Solid grasp/experience with data technologies & tools (Hadoop, PySpark etc.)
  • Experience with full end-to-end data solutions, including data needs, data modelling, and data visualizations.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL.
  • Strong Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL solutions, including data modeling and optimization.
  • Defining and building scalable ETL/ELT workflows for reporting and analytics.
  • Developing scripts and programs for converting various types of data into usable formats.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and proven ability to adapt to challenges, coaching and mentoring.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills, including conceptual, requirements interpretation, solution creation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Nice to Have
    • PhD or master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
    • Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and their implementation.
