Koch Ford is looking for an experienced
HR & Payroll Specialist at the
Koch Ford Lincoln Dealership. If you are looking for a

Primary Payroll Responsibilities:
- Manage and process the monthly payroll cycle (full end to end) for various employment groups (hourly, salaried, & commission, employees). This includes collecting and entering new employee information, timesheets, pay & position changes, terminations, and various types of leaves. Ensuring accuracy, compliance and reporting with federal and provincial laws/legislation and appropriate internal approvals are obtained. Cost coding, journal entries and adjustments, account reconciliations, and remittances.
- Complete year end process for each payroll group. This includes reconciliations of all earnings, deductions, and taxable benefits. Issuing of T4's/T4A's and annual reporting to various federal and provincial governments.
Primary Human Resources Responsibilities:
- Carry out the daytoday Human Resources functions, providing guidance and support to managers and employees. This includes developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, recruitment, onboarding/offboarding of employees, managing employee records, attendance records, employee requests and various reporting requirements.
Primary Benefits Responsibilities:
- Coordinate employee benefit and pension administration. This includes enrolling/terminating employees, calculating premiums, reconciling various benefit statements, remittances, entering salary, dependent, and class changes, managing disability and WCB claims.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Driver's License _(travel to other stores may be required_)
- Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience with dealership programs such as PBS (_Clarity_) would be considered an asset
- A diploma or certificate from an accredited human resources, payroll or business administration program would be considered an asset (_an equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered)_
- Professional oral and written communications skills
- Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking skills with high attention to detail
- Manage multiple deadlines and changing priorities in a fastpaced environment
- Capacity to exercise innovative thinking and problem solving skills
- Ability to engage with employees and managers at every level
- Continually adapt to the needs of our business
