Our primary area of expertise is in the agricultural industry, where we have provided electrical work for dairy farms, poultry farms, and industrial processing facilities.

Responsibilities:


  • The ability to perform diagnostics of generators, including the load testing of generators
  • Performing preventative maintenance activities with mínimal supervision
  • Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner
  • Diagnose and perform repairs on all makes of engines and power generators
  • Following documented procedures and completing paperwork
  • Responsible for safe operation of company vehicle and maintaining a clean driving record
  • Will sometimes be required to work out town upon request

Qualifications and Experience

  • Apprentice Certified Power Generation Technician
  • Electrical Journeyman or Apprentice
  • Diploma from relevant technical institute (diesel tech etc)
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License
  • Own a complete set of hand tools for both mechanical and electrical repairs
  • ASTT Certification an asset
  • Good understanding of A/C power
  • Proven abilities in troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Strong work ethic and motivated
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team

Job Status

  • Fulltime
  • Permanent
  • Wage is dependent on qualifications and level of experience
  • We offer dental and medical benefits and you can become eligible for the company's RRSP plan after one year of employment

$35.00-$42.00 per hour
