- Measure, cut, and shape sheet metal to specified dimensions using hand and power tools.
- Install external cladding systems, including metal wall panels, roofing sheets, trims, and flashings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and cladding system specifications.
- Operate machinery such as brakes, shears, rollers, and seamers to form sheet metal.
- Ensure proper weatherproofing and sealing of joints and connections
- Fit insulation and vapor barriers beneath cladding systems as required.
- Work at heights using ladders, scaffolds, and mobile elevated work platforms.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including the use of PPE and fall protection systems.
- Collaborate with other team members to coordinate tasks on-site.
- Maintain clean and organized tools, equipment, and workspaces.
- Proven experience as a sheet metal worker, cladder, or similar role.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical diagrams.
- Proficient in measuring, cutting, and fitting sheet metal and panels.
- Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Familiarity with cladding systems such as aluminum composite panels (ACM), zinc panels, steel sheeting, or standing seam roofing.
- Excellent physical fitness and manual dexterity.
- Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver's license required
