Description

The Product Owner is responsible for the day-to-day management of one or more product verticals within taq. The Product Owner will work in an agile environment and follow scrum methodology to ensure continuous delivery for customers.

The role of the Product Owner is to ensure alignment of a shared product vision, create user stories, maintain a groomed backlog, and maximize the value of the Product and the work of the team.

They are empowered and responsible for the success of the Product.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The Product Owner is responsible for maximizing the value of the Product and the work done by the Scrum Team

Main responsibilities are:

Envisioning the Product
Creating alignment of a shared vision among the team
Creating user stories and cocreating user acceptance criteria
Grooming and prioritizing the backlog to achieve stakeholder goals
Optimizing the value of the Product and the work of the team
Collaborating with stakeholders
Contributions to the Product roadmap, design, and vision
Planning releases
Participating in team meetings
Adhoc duties as may be assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

SKILLS required

Learns quickly. Demonstrates an ability to quickly and proficiently understand and absorb new information.

EXPERIENCE

Proven track record of delivering datadriven solutions with a customerfirst mindset
At least one year of experience in Product Management and/or Product Development.
Established background in launching software or services in partnership with engineering teams and a high degree of proficiency in prototyping and iterative development. An understanding of Agile principles.

EDUCATION

Postsecondary education or equivalent work experience
Certified Scrum Product Owner training is an asset
