JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Drive Forklift outdoors and load scrap material into grinder

Work safely by adhering to all rules and regulations, using PPE and completing forklift inspections.
Identify material by colour/type and properly mix material when required.
Check regrind silos levels and contents, ensure you're sending pulverized material to the correct silo.
Load and unload raw material bins/hoppers/bags (i.e. maintain raw material levels to ensure grinder operation).
Retrieve recyclable materials from production area.
Participate in the PVC Recovery program, ensure proper disposal of materials i.e. Burned material
Ensure all scrap is clean, gaskets removed, including no burnt PVC, inspect boxes and totes thoroughly. Inspect the loading area and coffin after each absence from work area.
Place scrap material/packaging/garbage in designated material bins.
Participate in the PVC Recovery program, ensure recycling of Scrap pipe & Die run off
Ensure all scrap ground is accounted for on your tally sheet, including product and weight.
Construct packaging.
Package product as per specification.
Place raw material in proper location for storage and retrieval.
Compactor cleaning and removal of debris
Garbage

- assist production in cleanup

Colour drums consolidate and disposal of liners

- housekeeping - floor sweeping/assist production
- yard organization - wood area/gaylords

Wood & block inventory count

- cutting block - read schedule and maintain adequate inventory of running bock sizes

Use recycled wood where possible to save costs
Any other duties as allocated by supervisor(s)

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in English.
Ability to perform basic mathematical functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds/23 kilograms.
Ability to work rotating shifts
Lift truck certification.
