How you will contribute as part of the TRCA team:

Major Responsibilities:

Provide active operational support on Forestry services projects including tree and forest inventories, arborist reports, hazard tree removals, and invasive species management.
Assist with TRCA Ash Tree Injection Program.
Assist with the operation and maintenance of the tools and equipment required of each program.
Other duties as assigned.

What will you need to succeed:

Demonstrate experience and knowledge of best practices in forestry and arboriculture operations.
Experience in dendrology and woody plant identification skills,
Possess a current, valid Class G Driver's License,
First Aid / CPR certificates is an asset.
Computer literacy including the use of GPS, Microsoft office suite programs, and GIS software is an asset
Familiarity with farm, landscape and construction equipment, including small tools and larger machinery.
Demonstrated experience and aptitude for outdoor activities and to work outdoors in adverse conditions.
