Heavy Equipment Operator

We're looking for several heavy equipment operators to run Articulated Trucks, Haul Trucks, Loaders, Excavators, and Bulldozers. Rotating through a variety of machines and duties means there's lots to do and learn.

In addition to running heavy equipment you may be responsible for General Labour including but not limited to shoveling buildup around and inside processing equipment, completing repairs on processing equipment such as clipping conveyor belting, replacing rollers, bearings, drive belts, and screens, etc.

Qualifications

Ideally, you have training or experience running and understanding heavy equipment, as well as the following qualifications:

• At least 1 years' experience as a heavy equipment operator
• Experience working in a quarry or sand and gravel pit
• Safety training and mechanical aptitude is an asset
• Common core training is an asset

Plant Operator

Our Plant Operators operate heavy equipment such as plant loaders and trucks and do regular and preventative maintenance on equipment.

Qualifications

• At least a year's experience as a plant operator
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Experience as a heavy equipment operator an asset
• Welder/welding experience is an asset
• Common core training is an asset
