    Job Title: Scrum Master

    Job Type: Contract; Full-Time

    Location: Hybrid, Multiple Locations (Canada)



    About the Company:

    Our client is a Crown corporation providing specialized and personalized financial services to farming operations. Our client offers financing, insurance, software, learning programs, and other business services to producers, agribusiness owners and agri-food entrepreneurs across the country.



    Responsibilities:

    • Scrum Master for 1-2 teams
    • Remove impediments for the Team and the Product Owner
    • Facilitate Scrum Ceremonies and related workshops
    • Reinforcing Scrum practices
    • Supporting information management of the planning and completed work
    • Process Management and Improvement – collaborate with other Scrum Masters and champion on-going process improvement initiatives to implement best practices for Agile and Scrum Master role
    • Team Building – Ensuring a good working relationship between team members, promote empowerment of the team, ensuring that each team member is fully engaged in their work and in the project.

    Requirements:

    Required Experience

    • In-depth knowledge of Agile principles, Scrum and Kanban frameworks and techniques as well as the ability to mentor others in their application of Agile and Scrum
    • Utilize corporate objectives and priorities to ensure teams are working on the right piece of work
    • Analyze and resolve a wide range of impediments that are strategic, organizational or technical in nature
    • Minimum five years of business experience
    • Scrum Master certification would be an asset
    • Current or previous Scrum Master experience is required
    • Experience supporting multiple teams is an asset
