Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Deli Associate to join our team.

As a Deli Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving deli items, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.


Duties:


  • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Take customer orders and assist with any questions or concerns
  • Prepare and serve deli items such as sandwiches, salads, and soups
  • Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the deli area
  • Stock shelves and refrigerated displays with fresh products
  • Follow food safety guidelines to ensure proper handling and storage of food items
  • Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed

Experience:


  • Previous experience in a restaurant or deli setting is preferred but not required
  • Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive experience for customers
  • Familiarity with POS systems for cash handling and order processing
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent


Salary:
$16.55-$20.49 per hour
