- Handle T4s, ROEs, and year-end reconciliations, adhering to Canadian tax laws.
- Oversee group pension and benefits programs.
- Be the primary contact for employee inquiries regarding benefits and payroll related questions.
- Participate in payroll audits, ensuring financial accuracy and risk mitigation.
- 5+ years in payroll and benefits administration.
- Familiarity with Canadian payroll tax laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Payroll Certification (National Payroll Institute) preferred.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations ethically and adapt to new processes.
- Navigating complex payroll systems across multiple provinces.
- Balancing diverse tasks within tight deadlines.
