Responsibilities:

  • Foster a welcoming environment by actively engaging with potential and existing patients, understanding their needs, and providing empathetic support throughout their healthcare journey.
  • Educate new patients on available services, articulating key features and benefits of our psychology and health programs to empower informed decisionmaking.
  • Facilitate appointment scheduling, ensuring efficient coordination and seamless patient experiences during their visits.
  • Collaborate with fellow patient care coordinators and the team to accurately document and maintain prospect, patient, and client data.
  • Provide essential administrative assistance to the healthcare team, contributing to the daytoday operational efficiency and collective goal achievement.
  • Perform basic accounting tasks to support the smooth functioning of daily office operations, including dayend reporting, billing, and accounts receivables.
  • Handle the submission, billing, and monitoring of treatment plans for private clients and healthcare services, ensuring compliance with relevant health programs.
  • Contribute to business development, marketing, and advertising efforts, including managing social media platforms and assisting in organizing workshops and events.
  • Actively participate in and assist with the coordination of training and mentorship programs for interns, volunteer associates, and other staff members.
  • Provide administrative support to the assessment team and clinical assistant, stepping in as needed to ensure the seamless functioning of psychological services.
  • Undertake and manage special projects as required, demonstrating adaptability and a proactive approach to evolving healthcare needs.

Experience and Skills:

  • Relevant experience in healthcare administration or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on active listening.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Empathy, compassion, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional client experience.

As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare facility.

You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients, managing administrative tasks, and facilitating effective communication between patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies.

Your attention to detail, knowledge of medical terminology, and ability to navigate electronic medical records will contribute to the overall efficiency and quality of patient care.


Salary:
$22.00-$26.00 per hour
