Key job responsibilities

  • Owning the deep dive of senior leadership escalations
  • Maintaining regional enforcement matrices
  • Funneling BOC recommendations for all TRC teams
  • Providing deep dive support for active litigation and regulatory outreach
  • Supporting DSP and DAlevel investigations (received via DSP Risk and Relations)
  • Proposing program policy updates
  • Reporting on trends, emerging risks, and recommendations realized through TRC operational workstreams.
  • Utilize strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills regulaly
A day in the life
Investigating and deep diving reported/detected violations of law, regulation, and program policy.

Using the results of those investigations to influence the work of other teams to mitigate any gaps that are surfaced.

Reporting trends and risk of non-compliance to our business stakeholders to give them early visibility to issues that will impact their operations.

You will also work closely with legal teams to ensure our policies are reflective of our real-world practice and ensure our enforcement strategies are informed by law and policy.

About the team

The TRC Americas Escalations Program strives to mitigate the impact of escalations to Last Mile (LM) by providing guidance on patterns of non-compliance.

Our goal is to drive towards a stronger culture of compliance with our business and carrier partners.


Specific team responsibilities include:

1) owning the deep dive of senior leadership escalations, 2) maintaining regional enforcement matrices, 3) funneling BOC recommendations for all TRC teams, 4) providing deep dive support for active litigation and regulatory outreach, 5) supporting DSP and DA-level investigations (received via DSP Risk and Relations), 6) proposing program policy updates, and 7) reporting on trends, emerging risks, and recommendations realized through TRC operational workstreams.

We drive adoption and implementation of pragmatic and scalable risk management solutions to enable business growth. We protect Amazon's brand by partnering with internal and external teams to proactively measure leading risk indicators. We shape risk mitigation strategies with informed and data-driven assessments.

Toronto, ON, CAN

  • Understanding of basic data analytical tools such as QuickSight, PowerBI, SQL
  • Payroll auditing and knowledge of federal, state and local wage regulations
  • Experience in program management
  • Experience leading risk assessments and defining audit roadmaps
  • Demonstrable problemsolving, data analytic / analysis competencies using insights to drive tactical business decisions
  • Commitment to or background in continuous improvement (i.e. 6sigma, ISO, Total Quality, etc.)
  • Ability to drive successful partnerships with external teams to execute tactic initiatives
