Responsibilities:


  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
  • Monthly IFRS financial reporting, including preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and other management reports/ad hoc reports for up to to 9 legal entities
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly percentage of completion analysis of all fixed fee capital sales contracts and work with project managers to obtain the estimated cost of completion and estimated percentage of completion
  • Preparation of timely and accurate financial reports
  • Develop a monthly review process to ensure adequate review of all account reconciliations.
  • Setting up the procedures and managing the process of monthend closing. Supporting the process as necessary including preparation of journal entries, technically challenging accounting transactions
  • Assist in FP&A budgeting and monthly fullyear forecasts, including manage the process, compile, and consolidate, analyze, and prepare management business review reports
  • Support the audit process as necessary
  • Implement and maintain financial reporting processes
  • Perform other activities and special projects, as needed
  • Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements and local tax compliance

Job Requirements:


Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting with a CPA and prior Public Accounting experience preferred
  • Experience in Financial Reporting and Management Reporting on a global basis
  • Knowledge and experience of IFRS
  • Extensive accounting experience and ability and desire to get actively involved and roll up your sleeves to get the work done
  • Ability to work crossfunctionally in a fastpaced environment
  • Exposure to global entities and global teams, including foreign currency transactions, multicompany consolidations and intercompany reconciliations
  • Previous experience as a handson Manager in a company with longterm infrastructure type projects, where project accounting and POC revenue recognition are used on a daily basis, is very critical
  • Ability to execute and followthrough to produce complete, accurate and timely deliverables
  • Attention to detail and accuracy are required
  • Must also be proactive and flexible in an environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
