OVERVIEW
Commissionaires Great Lakes offers an immediate opportunity for a versatile, highly motivated Security Professional.

We are looking for an individual with excellent interpersonal and verbal communications skills, strong working knowledge of computer systems, CCTV experience, a positive attitude and the ability to provide excellent customer service, security and protection for our client's site.

As a front-line representative of our company and client's site you must be highly reliable, work well under pressure, able to work with mínimal supervision, have the ability to multitask and be a professional who takes pride in your dress, deportment and performance at all times.

  • Hourly Rate of Pay: $20
  • Hours of work: Monday
  • Friday 08:00 16:00
  • Location: 1 Stone Rd, Guelph, ON N1G 4Y2
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Recommend ways to improve physical security
  • Ensure that the team adheres to the Post Orders and CGL Policies & Procedures
  • Handle confidential information with a high level of discretion
  • Organize the training of new staff
  • Prepare and submit the time sheets and schedules
  • Provide leadership to the team
  • Primary contact for the client and Regional Manager
  • Submit daily reports to the Facility and Security Manager
  • Monitor CCTV cameras
  • Conduct patrols
  • Respond to emergencies and building alarms
  • Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and deportment
  • Maintain a positive attitude and professional working relationship with employees, visitors, and clients
  • Complete the site reporting requirements, and written reports when required
  • Other duties as may be required by the client

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma
  • Ontario Security Guard License
  • Valid First Aid and CPR C certificate
  • Successful completion of the CGL Supervisor Training course
  • The ability to stand for long periods of time and complete frequent patrols
  • Strong understanding of computers
