store floor ops manager Job description.**$25 to $28 Per hour - Full Time

The ideal person for this role approaches challenges head-on while remaining calm in a fast-paced, exciting retail environment. You have a proven ability to drive amazing customer experiences and results through leading a team.

Your operational savvy, strong planning and delegating skills will be an asset as you handle multiple commitments at once with customers, staff, and operations.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide world class garden centre shopping experiences.
Manage supervise, delegate and direct merchandising and sales team to ensure they meet daily work objectives. Sustaining strong rhythms in daily tasks and activities.
Provide "how we work" training to 1520 employees (full and part time) to develop their skills and enhance job performance.
Address employee performance issues in a timely and effective manner.
Work with team leads to ensure priorities are met.
Maintain store cleanliness for safe shopping and working environment.
Monitor inventory to ensure products are ordered and stocked in a timely manner with store level ordering team.
Ensure retail design departments are building to budget / customer uptake.
Listen to customer complaints to address and resolve issues.
Manage schedules to seasonal needs and within budgets.
Maintain and build relationships with store buyers and admin team.
