Shift:
Monday to Friday, 10:00am to 6:30pm
The Logistics Coordinator carries out planning, shipping and coordination activities of independent delivery teams ensuring the set-up of the day.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordination and shipping of freight to a predetermined distribution center
- Ensure all routes are covered by facilitating change requests and providing coverage for late or absent delivery staff
- Assist drivers with routing or delivery issues and communicate changes to service requirements
- Support operations management to implement programs and policies to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve the customer service experience
- Produce and maintain reports, databases, and other documents to monitor and track service performance
- Preparation of customerspecific performance reports using datasets
- Assist and support the operations team in project initiatives to improve the customer service experience
- Conduct quality and compliance assessments to ensure accuracy of documentation
- Monitors and tracks performance results and accountabilities.
- Maintain good working relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders by responding to all inquiries and complaints.
- Act as a liaison between vendors, customer service, account administration and between office and client regarding changes, problem resolution. Escalate to the operations management team when requiring intervention.
EDUCATION:
- Completed high school or college or experience in inventory management, logistics, administration, or transportation is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in logistics would be an asset
CORE COMPETENCIES:
- Handson knowledge of logistics and planning.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Analytical and documentation skills.
- Demonstrates strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Teamwork.
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in French and English.
