Woodland Towers/Spruce Lodge is looking for motivated, committed PSW's who take pride in the work that they do, are flexible and able to work independently within a team environment.

We are a small department with a strong commitment to providing the best care we can to those in our program.

Staff duties entail all aspects of personal care, strong assessment skills and the ability to problem solve within the scope of the PSW role.

We pay for a full 8 hour shift, and provide you with a free meal during your shift. We offer OMERS for all permanent part time employees.

This wage also includes the $3 wage enhancement for PSW work as well as 9.5% in lieu of benefits pay for part time employees.

We are a unionized organization. You must have your PSW certificate, be enrolled in the PSW program or have completed one year of a nursing program as well as;

Secondary School Diploma
Experience with frail seniors and physically disabled an asset
Physically Capable
Able to work all shifts and weekends
Able to take written and verbal instructions
Desire to improve the quality of life for frail seniors and physically disabled, living in the community and Woodland Towers.
Current CPR and First Aid Certification, and Safe Food Handling Course or willingness to complete within 30 days of commencing posting.
Must hold a valid driver's license, insurance, and have a reliable vehicle.

This position requires or may require driving of your own vehicle to and from clients' homes in the community

$24.63-$27.17 per hour
