The Comox Valley Campus of the North Island Hospital in the beautiful and family-friendly Comox Valley is seeking two full time General Internal Medicine specialists.

Applicants must hold Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) certification or equivalent, and be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia.

The Comox Valley medical community is a collegial group of physicians, nurse practitioners, dentists and midwives who share common values of medical excellence and a balanced lifestyle.

This balance includes great programs and facilities for families and the availability of outstanding year-round recreational activities.

Please note that we are currently recruiting for 2 Internal Medicine positions with the above job description.

We are also concurrently recruiting for an additional Community Internal Medicine position which could be full time or part time, encompassing outpatient clinic work but without any hospital component, and with no requirement to participate in overnight call.

We are also in the process of recruiting a second outpatient Repirologist for the community.

Comox Valley Hospital is a 154 bed acute care facility opened in 2017, managed by the Vancouver Island Health Authority.

This new facility includes a closed 8-bed ICU and a 10-bed telemetry unit. In order to support our growing community, the Comox Valley Hospital is looking to expand internal medicine capacity.
