- Maintain constant and clear communication with the office, gate security and operators controlling traffic in and out of unloading area
- Direct customers to appropriate unloading areas
- Check every load and report findings promptly to the office and record noncompliance on inspection form
- Ensure cleanliness around shredder unloading area
- Call fair and consistent deductions
- Must have valid drivers license
- No experience necessary but previous work experience in a manufacturing, production, or similar scrapyard/auto part environment will be considered an asset
- Customer focus: Take responsibility for developing excellent customer service making sure that all customer interactions are handled professionally and expeditiously
- Communicate clearly and listen carefully in an open candid and consistent manner
- Team Player: Establish trust with team members, stating clear expectations and recognizes group morale and acts to protect and/or build as required
- Able to work outdoors for the majority of the day
- Able to stand for the majority of the day
- Able to lift 50 lb

JOB SUMMARY
Controlling all incoming and outgoing traffic, ensuring that all customers have and wear all PPE while in the yard. Inspecting all loads and materials according to company guidelines. Ensure safe interaction between customers and company equipment. Must have reliable transportation as no bus route to the work site.
