    Visual Designer (2-5 years of experience) - Canada (Remote)

    Responsibilities:

    • Design social experiences that resonate with users and embody design excellence.
    • Lead social feature design projects, collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams and guided by senior design insights.
    • Engage in social listening, user research, and usability testing to inform design choices.
    • Develop design solutions that are in harmony with our comprehensive design system and best practices.
    • Advocate for user-centric design decisions across all stages of the social product lifecycle, adapting to feedback to optimize the user experience.

    Education and Experience:

    • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
    • Minimum2years of UI/UX design experience
    • Proficiencywithcontemporary design and prototyping software

    Skills:

    • Creative–applying design thinkingtobuildunconventionaldesigns that exceed stakeholder expectations; seekingout experts and research, constructively challengingexisting strategies and synthesizingideas and insights well
    • Software skills;ability to use a variety of software i.e.Adobe CC, Figma, Office 365etc.
    • Design Layout Skills -utilizingiconography, typography, colour, and interaction together,to assist usersinnavigatingproducts
    • Collaboration Skills –ability to brainstorm creative design concepts using wireframes/sketches/whiteboardingwhile leveraging soliddesign principlesonadiverse team in a dynamic, rapid growth environment
    • The role requiresaresults-orientedandefficientplannerfocusing on user needs
