Department Overview

  • The Corporate and Commercial Foreign Exchange team operates within TD Securities' Global FX business. Specifically, this includes a team of sales professionals, who are responsible for the distribution of foreign exchange products to TD's Commercial Business clients in both Canada and the U.S.
  • Profitably manage sales conversations
  • Proactively manage client relationships
  • Uncover efficiencies to help transform and elevate our online trading platform
  • Identify, develop and present structured trade ideas
  • Support our efforts to grow the suite of products extended to our clients
  • Lead projects related to client data analytics
  • Speak knowledgably about the markets
  • Solve problems and manage time effectively in a fast paced environment
  • Provide online support
  • Perform client outreach and answer all incoming client queries
  • Increase usage of TDFX through the reactivation of existing clients
  • Participate in partner and client visits
  • Liaise with partners and trading desk to maintain system integrity throughout the trading day
  • Provide legendary customer service on each and every transaction for our clients and partners

Job Requirements

  • Applicants should have a sound understanding of global financial markets
  • Applicants should possess a strong understanding of foreign exchange, money market and fixed income products
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining great attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and in a dynamic team environment
  • Applicants require experience in project management
  • Applicants require strong organizational, problem solving and time management skills
  • Strong PC software skills with high proficiency in Excel
  • Experience in a customer service and sales environment
  • Demonstrated superior presentation and communication skills
  • Selfstarter, motivated towards improving and developing the business with creativity in thinking
  • Strong work ethic and ability to take on initiatives and balance multiple tasks
  • Fluency in French, Mandarin and/or Cantonese is an asset
