Brief outline of ILA's responsibilities/duties include:

Personal Support Services; assistance with personal care, assistance with meals, assistance with medication, transferring/positioning clients, ROM, Escorting clients to appointments etc.

Homemaking Services; light house cleaning, laundry, shopping, banking, paying bills, planning menus, preparing meals etc.


Qualifications & Experience:


  • Personal Support Worker Certificate, PSW Certificate or higher relevant education (RPN, DSW, SSW, RN, Health Care Aide 3+ years of experience).
  • Previous experience working with people with physical disabilities in a community based setting
  • Dedication to providing holistic supports, without prejudice, to each person on an individualized basis
  • First Aid/CPR
  • Vulnerable Sector Check
  • TB test

Job Type:
Part-time


Salary:
$22.14-$25.24 per hour
