Regular Full Time - 1.0 FTE

This position is at the L07 level with an hourly pay range of $ $43.80

Our organization is an integrated system of hospitals:
Whitehorse General Hospital (58 beds), Watson Lake Community Hospital (6 beds) and Dawson City Community Hospital (6 beds).

Knowledge and Skills required:

Excellent oral and written communication skills including report writing, presentation skills. Strong communication skills, relational, and a strong influencing skill set;
Ability to provide registration support in a complex and highly integrated MEDITECH environment;
Ability to work effectively and interact with all levels of the organization including physicians, senior management, middle management, expert users, and frontline staff, as well as external vendors;
Ability to plan, organize, coordinate and lead teams;
Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with staff, vendors, and external stakeholders;
Ability to effectively work independently and in teams to meet deadlines;
Ability to facilitate expert user training;
Ability to understand and analyze complex information and problem solve; and
Crosscultural awareness and sensitivity.

The successful applicant is required to have a High School Diploma, completion of Medical Office Administration or Patient Registration Specialist Certificate with (3) years Registration experience preferably in a MEDITECH environment.

An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be considered.
