A Snapshot of Your Day:


The Field Service Representative (FSR) will lead/contribute to various projects in Canada related to Field Service activity (maintenanceor upgrade) of Large Nuclear or Gas Turbines in Power Ranges from MegaWatts.

The FSR will also provide/ ensure procedures and guidelines arefollowed for work and coordinate with the Siemens network. The FSR will maintain outage documentation tothe standard. This enables our customers equipment reliability in generating electricitythat feeds or Canadian grids or powers critical Canadian Industry. Thisposition will be based in one of the Siemens Energy Canada offices in Oakville,ON.

You'll

Make an Impact

  • Demonstrate a minimum of 38 years relevant experience working in the power generation industry.
  • Experiencein the general maintenance of large gas turbines, steam turbines, generatorsand associated equipment.
  • Experienceworking to and updating complex schedules. Familiarity with related softwaresuch as Primavera and/or Microsoft Project.
  • Flexibilityand willingness to work overtime as needed. Ability to travel up to 70%

What you Bring

  • Supervise mechanical maintenance crews ranging in size from 1 to 15 persons disassembling, inspecting, repairing, and reassembling large steam/gas turbine generators.
  • Leadjob site safety programs and performs complex site surveys to developmaintenance plans.
  • Completeand submits detailed reports covering all job activity.
  • Completethe planning and estimating of resources and durations required for specificscopes of work for customer proposals.
  • Performthe review of complex task plans, drawings, and installation schematics andprovides continual mentorship throughout task duration.
