The role of a music teacher is to educate and nurture students with the skills necessary to enjoy making music.

• Suitable candidates must have at least one of the following qualifications:

1. a recognized degree or diploma in music from an established University or College,


2. a minimum Grade 8 RCM standing accompanied by Grade 2 Rudiments, or


3. professional equivalency demonstrating expertise in teaching and performing music.
   
   

   
   The successful candidate should possess excellent communication skills for imparting knowledge effectively. They will be required to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs. Additionally, they need strong musical ability and pedagogical acumen.
   Pursuing continuous professional development would also be highly valued.
