    Job summary

    Under the supervision of the Software Group Manager, and within the Research and Development department, your main responsibility will be to work in an agile team developing our new product for our industry's field network and ethernet-ip testing offerings.

    You'll be working in a hybrid mode, in a DevOps minded team.

    What you'll do

    As part as an Agile SCRUM team, we are looking for someone who

    • Favors face-to-face communication with team members over any other means
    • Favors finishing work over starting work
    • Favors a "green" build over their current work
    • Favors their team's success over their own

    • Favors small testable vertical increments over horizontal integration

    • Favors automated tests over manual ones

    What we're looking for

    Technical skills

    • In-depth knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts
    • Knowledge of C# (.Net Core) / Flutter
    • Knowledge of REST API development
    • Knowledge of Git/Gitlab, Docker Containers, Virtualization, DevOps practices and datacom/transport protocols will be considered an asset

    Required aptitudes

    • Attention to detail and quality of work
    • Ability to work as part of a team
    • Organizational skills
    • Good communication skills

    Must have

    • Bachelor's degree in software or computer engineering or equivalent.
    • Bilingual (French and English, oral and written)
    • 2-5 years relevant expierience

    Other: Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

    Sous la supervision du responsable du groupe logiciel et au sein du département Recherche et Développement, votre principale mission sera de participer, au sein d'une équipe agile, au développement de notre nouveau produit destiné aux solutions de test de réseaux de terrain et Ethernet-IP de notre secteur. Vous travaillerez en mode hybride, au sein d'une équipe orientée DevOps.

    Cette opportunité unique vous permettra de contribuer à la création d'un nouveau produit, de A à Z, en utilisant les technologies les plus récentes. Si vous possédez d'excellentes compétences en matière de création de valeur pour le client et que cela vous motive, alors votre profil nous intéresse.

    Vos responsabilités

    Au sein d'une équipe Agile Scrum, nous recherchons une personne qui :
    • Privilégie la communication directe avec les membres de l'équipe


    • Privilégie la finalisation des tâches au démarrage


    • Privilégie la mise en production continue (ou « green build ») à son travail en cours


    • Privilégie la réussite de son équipe à sa propre réussite


    • Privilégie les petites incrémentations verticales testables à l'intégration horizontale


    • Privilégie les tests automatisés aux tests manuels

    Profil recherché

    Compétences techniques


    • Maîtrise des concepts de la programmation orientée objet


    • Connaissance de C# (.Net Core) / Flutter


    • Connaissance du développement d'API REST

    La connaissance de Git/GitLab, des conteneurs Docker, de la virtualisation, des pratiques DevOps et des protocoles de communication/transport de données sera considérée comme un atout

    Exigences

    Baccalauréat en génie logiciel ou informatique ou l'équivalent.

    2 à 5 ans d'expérience pertinente.
    Bilingue (français oral et écrit, anglais écrit).

    Autre : Vous devez être légalement autorisé(e) à travailler au Canada.

    Toute autre combinaison d'expérience et de formation sera prise en considération.
