Description

We are looking to fill a full-time, permanent position for a Leasing and Resident Experience Coordinator at one of our residential buildings in the GTA.


The Leasing and Resident Experience Coordinator will report to the Property Manager, with duties aligned to the office support team, including marketing, and operations.

Working in the on-site rental office they are responsible for community showings and leasing, collaboration on leasing and retention programs, resident communication and customer service, reporting, rent collection and administration.

The Leasing and Resident Experience Coordinator role requires flexible working hours with some weekend work based on business needs. It may require other duties in line with the scope of the role and function of the business.


The Leasing and Resident Experience Coordinator has a friendly manner and thrives under pressure and can manage tight deadlines with quality result and positive attitude.

Experience in real estate, marketing, leasing, or hospitality is an asset. Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills with the ability to develop and sustain cooperative working relationships.


Responsibilities and Duties:


Leasing & Marketing

  • Establishing a comprehensive knowledge of the residential community, including availability of suite types and layouts, common areas and amenities of the building and valueadded services provided.
  • Conducting regular market surveys, analyzing competition, and identifying market trends for the purpose of providing input and recommendations on pricing and strategy.
  • Collaborate with marketing team on the property's newsletter and monthly calendar.
  • Ensure that all leads are responded to, and all traffic is documented appropriately.
  • Generate leads through a variety of avenues.

Resident Retention & Customer Experience

  • Assist with the management of renewal processes and retention programs with existing residents.
  • Prepare reports for resident retention.
  • Organize resident events and activities at the property that align to the resident base to increase customer loyalty.
  • Adhere to company and industry standards and policies.
  • When necessary, assist Leasing Administrator with the collection of rental payments and tenant requests in the rental office, deliver notices to units and post notices in building when required.
  • When necessary, assist the Leasing Administrator with following up with tenants regarding rent collection and nonpayment.

Management of Vacant Suites

  • Conduct suite turnover inspections and work closely with Management to monitor the progress of work being done in vacant units, ensuring Management is aware of any delays.
  • Conduct weekly vacant suite inspections and report any issues to Management immediately.

Qualifications:


  • 13 years customer service experience
  • Experience in Property Management or Leasing an asset.
  • Experience with the RTA an asset
  • Demonstrated competency with Microsoft Office required.
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
  • Ability to accept responsibility and account for their actions.
  • Ability to utilize available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of people and interests while being culturally aware.
  • Have a thorough understanding of competing properties and current market conditions.

Job Types:

Salary:
$45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
