Description

You know your way around a building - from the maze of hallways in the basement, to the roof, and everything in-between.

You get along well with all types of people. You are cool in pressure-cooker situations.


You will

  • Perform minor carpentry, electrical, paint and plumbing repairs
  • Power wash and window clean
  • Complete daily and weekly inspections of all common areas, mechanical and electrical rooms
  • Ensure walkways and car park areas are safe and clean
  • Maintain building supply inventories
  • Maintain access control and key control system
  • Respond to tenant service requests
  • Work directly with, and be directed by, the Operations Supervisor and Mall Property Manager

You are

  • Someone who thrives in a fastpaced retail mall and in an office environment
  • A person who can see a problem, recognize it and work quickly to resolve it on your own and/or as a strong team player
  • Flexible scheduled work can, and will, change hourly due to the nature and size of property
  • An excellent communicator who stays calm under pressure
  • Dependable and proactive
  • Someone who enjoys challenges, likes to stay busy and are satisfied when works is done

You have

  • Great skills working with the public and are focused on customer service
  • A minimum of 3 years of previous work experience in a building assistant role, no tickets required
  • No problem working outdoors a good majority of our mall is open public spaces
  • Strong organizational and people skills
  • Good computer skills (Microsoft Office)
  • An eye for detail

Work day
Full-time 40-hour week
