Located in Richmond Hil, the Marketing Coordinator / Event Planner - Commercial Sales Division supports the largest appliance dealer in Canada through the timely and accurate development and execution of all Brand / Social media content / Customer Event related marketing activities for 8 locations across Canada.

As our Marketing Coordinator, you will collaborate with our parent company The Brick Retail Marketing team to create and produce marketing collateral, social media content, local promotional campaigns, and showroom events to help meet company sales objectives.

With a flair for design, you will attend key designer events as designated, acting as a brand influencer for the Brick Commercial - Midnorthern Appliance Division.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, analyze, and report on event marketing campaigns / showroom event performance.
  • Design, develop and produce promotional support and reference materials consistent with corporate brand direction and objectives to build further brand awareness in the local markets
  • Complete research to determine viability of new programs, events, and other opportunities to promote brand awareness and sales growth
  • Collaborate with Brick retail marketing and key partners/suppliers in support of promotional events
  • Communicate with Commercial Management, Brick Retail Marketing, and other internal/external stakeholders to share information and collect feedback on promotional Marketing events / programs; utilize feedback to identify and present new opportunities
  • Assist in the organization of sales / marketing events across the country for the commercial division across 8 locations and the preparation of related materials and or event requirements
  • Administering the Commercial Division's social media profiles and online reputation management daily in cooperation with Brick Retail Marketing group.
  • Researching and writing copy for social media content across all relevant platforms
  • Introducing and administration of marketing tools such as (YouTube, Mail Chimp, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn etc.) to further drive content and brand awareness.
  • Managing and collaborating with Brick Retail Marketing team, outside marketing, SEO and website contractors if and where required
  • Lead the design, in cooperation with Brick Retail Marketing on production of marketing materials, to promote showroom events, drive awareness and traffic into the showrooms.
  • Researching, organizing and attending key designer / trade events as a Brick Commercial influencer / representative.
  • Work with Management to look for and develop new opportunities to promote the Brick Commercial / Midnorthern brand to help drive luxury major appliance sales.

Qualifications:

  • Post-Secondary Education in Marketing or Design with minimum 3 years B2B outbound experience.
  • Strong written, verbal, excellent interpersonal skills, and presentation capabilities.
  • Ability to effectively develop and execute projects, ensuring key stakeholders are well informed and outcomes are effectively evaluated, and key learnings are applied to future projects
  • Ability to manage multiple activities concurrently and demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships, work crossfunctionally as well as with external partners suppliers / agencies).
  • Knowledge of marketing strategies and tactics for B2B and B2C target audiences for both products and services.
  • Must be a team player and have collaborative work relationships.
