- Translate business objectives into clear team and individual objectives and a clear, innovative and inspiring technology roadmap, in collaboration with the product owner and the Manager, Strategy and Design.
- Develop and monitor the team's progress and share feedback with them.
- Build productive and engaged teams, helping them develop personal and technical skills. Mentor team members in their career development.
- Act as primary technical contact with other technology teams.
- Work with the team to determine technical feasibility and to ensure the highest possible quality product is offered to customers. Identify opportunities to reuse and optimize code components.
- Define and implement production support to identify and help the team solve technical issues in our applications.
- Work with other managers to ensure that all initiatives have the appropriate resources, balancing business needs with each team member's experience and professional goals.
- Actively develop strategies for the removal of ineffective or unnecessary processes while mitigating risk.
- Continuously update and improve development practices, tools and processes, empowering people to work independently while also creating more efficient teams, and ensure they can meet our digital leadership objectives.

- Proficiency with the following concepts and technologies: Java, Kotlin, Swift, REST architecture, microservices, JSON, Git.
- At least 7 years of experience in software development.
- No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
